What is Paws in the Park?

Paws in the Park is an annual outdoor fundraising event where pets, their families and people who believe in the Washington County Humane Society (WCHS) mission come together to celebrate pet ownership.

The main event is a 1.5 or three-mile walk through neighborhoods in Jackson. Walkers are encouraged to collect pledges for their participation and awards are given for the top pledge earners. After the walk, the festivities continue with pet games and activities, vendors, music, food and raffle prizes. The event concludes at 2:00 p.m.
